Abstract:

A method of processing signature-required payment using a handheld device with a wireless access capability is disclosed. When a consumer buys goods from a seller, the seller and consumer agree on the amount of payment and acceptable payment species. The delivery person of the shipper who delivers the goods on behalf of the seller processes the payment using customer's credit/debit card and a cellular phone or handheld device at the door of the customer. Upon approval of the payment, the delivery person releases the goods to the customer.

Abstract:

A web browser-based payment system contains a processing server, a virtual terminal comprising a computer running a browse, a virtual terminal application, and at least one Point of Sale device connected to the computer, and network connection between the processing server and the virtual terminal. The virtual terminal thus is capable of retrieving from the server the virtual terminal application for processing payment. The virtual terminal invokes an embedded plug-in component, which allows the browser to interface with the POS devices. This payment system is capable of processing payments by using payment data from the attached Point of Sale device.

Abstract:

A versatile payment system connected to the payment network for the use with a POS application is disclosed. The payment system can be configured as a stand-alone payment system or a payment system integrated with the POS application. Versatility is achieved by (1) running the service manager in the background, allowing it to communicate with the POS application, (2) providing a setup menu allowing the user to configure its integration with the POS application, and (3) using a simple data-exchanging schema allowing the service manager and the POS application to exchange data such as authorization codes and amount of payment.

Abstract:

A system and a method are disclosed for detecting that a requesting user is transmitting a request to a recipient user to perform one or more tasks with respect to a secure document. The system extracts features associated with the secure document and inputs the features into a machine learning model that outputs one or more probabilities corresponding to a potential failure of the request. Based on the one or more probabilities, the system generates one or more feature modification activities to improve a likelihood of the recipient user completing the request. The system provides the one or more feature modification activities to at least one of the requesting user and the recipient user.
