Method And Apparatus For Unrolling Prophylactic Devices
Frederick P. Sisbarro - Wayne NJ William D. Platt - Mount Holly NJ Glenn W. Thomsen - Cream Ridge NJ
Assignee:
Carter-Wallace, Inc. - New York NY
International Classification:
B65G 5102
US Classification:
73 41
Abstract:
A plurality of rolled-up prophylactic devices are passed through a plurality of pairs of unroller tubes with a randomizer vessel being coupled between each pair of unroller tubes, the randomizer vessels functioning to randomly reorient a portion of rolled-up ones of the prophylactic devices passing therethrough to move a rolled-up portion of each of the latter to the outside of the associated prophylactic device to facilitate unrolling of the same as it passes from the randomizer vessel into another one of the unroller tubes. A separator tank has an inlet port coupled to an output end of the last occurring unroller tube, for collecting the processed prophylactic devices, and for applying a vacuum to the system for sucking the prophylactic devices through the unroller tubes and randomizer vessels.

Abstract:
The present disclosure provides packaged articles that can provide improved ease of access to the articles. More particularly, such packaged articles can comprise a plurality of multilayer films with a product contained therebetween. The multilayer films can be sealingly engaged one to another substantially only at a perimeter band that defines a closed, interior compartment in which the product is contained and which defines a tab section that is exterior to the perimeter band. At least a section of the perimeter band proximate to the tab section can be configured as a peel-apart seal such that the interior compartment containing the product is accessible by at least partially peeling apart the multilayer films. The disclosure further provides methods of packaging a product, such as a condom, and methods for improving ease of access to a packaged article, such as a condom.
The present invention provides an oral care composition which includes one or more nonpolar structuring agents, one or more emulsifiers, one or more mucoadhesive polymers, and one or more active ingredients effective for providing oral pain relief. The oral care composition can be a solid or semi-solid composition up to a temperature of at least 40 C. Methods of providing such an oral care composition are also provided herein.
Method And Composition For Depositing An Imprint Onto A Substrate

International Classification:
C09D 175/04 C09D 133/00 B41F 15/00
Abstract:
A composition for depositing an imprint onto an elastomeric substrate, includes an aqueous film-forming polymeric emulsion suspended in an aqueous medium. The present invention is further directed to methods of depositing the same as an imprint onto the elastomeric substrate, and articles formed therefrom.
A System For Depositing An Imprint Onto A Substrate
- Princeton NJ, US Andrew Y. Oleson - Lambertville NJ, US William D. Platt - Lumberton NJ, US Richard Grotyohann - Hillsborough NJ, US Richard Wilheim Janse van Rensburg - Cambridge, GB
International Classification:
B41F 3/20
Abstract:
A system for depositing an imprint onto a substrate includes a deposition surface having at least one outlet disposed therein, a substrate holder for holding the substrate against the deposition surface, means operatively associated with the deposition surface for supplying a material through said at least outlet to deposit said material onto the substrate, and a spacer member disposed in contact between the deposition surface and the substrate.

International Classification:
C09D 133/00 B41F 3/00
Abstract:
A composition for depositing textured imprints onto an elastomeric substrate includes an aqueous film-forming polymeric emulsion suspended in an aqueous medium. In particular, the composition is formulated for deposition onto a substrate to impart visual or tactile texture to the substrate upon deposition. The present invention is further directed to methods for depositing the same as textured imprints onto the elastomeric substrate, and articles formed therefrom.
