Abstract:

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus to protect users of the Internet from DNS outages. In particular, an outage avoidance system is provided that includes query processing, outage avoidance processing, and a local cache, all configured to extend the TTL of expired answers to DNS queries or to ignore the expiration of an answer's TTL value, and thereby provide the expired answer in response to a client request when a DNS server is unable to obtain an answer from a remote DNS server.

Abstract:

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus for sharing DNS answers between DNS server systems within a DNS cluster, between proxy servers, and/or between DNS server systems of different DNS clusters. When a DNS answer is obtained by a DNS server system, the answer can be shared with peer DNS server systems within a same DNS cluster or with DNS server systems having a logical relation to the first DNS server system (e. g. , geographic relationship), but being in different DNS clusters. Proxy servers may also mediate communication between a client and the DNS clusters. These proxies can also include the ability to share DNS answers between each other.

A high-throughput system for processing biological material that comprises: a tray that supports a functionally-closed fluid path subsystem comprising, a vessel for containing and enabling the biological material to separate into two or more distinct submaterials; one or more receptacles to receive one or more of the submaterials from the vessel; a filtration device; a conduit through which one or more submaterials are transported between at least the vessel and the filtration device; and a first engagement structure; a processing unit comprising, a pumping device for moving one or more of the submaterials between at least the vessel and the filtration device via the conduit; a second engagement structure corresponding to the first engagement structure; a locking mechanism for at least temporarily holding the tray in a fixed position relative to the processing unit; a control device that automatically starts and stops the pumping device in response to one or more commands.

Manufacturable and serviceable packaging configurations for multi-cell array batteries. A cell alignment structure is provided for positioning and securing an array of electrochemical cells. A cell module and modular cell tray apparatus for a modular electrochemical device that are more easily manufactured and serviced. A cell module is provided having a plurality of electrochemical cells. Abstract:

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus for forward and reverse DNS translation of IPv6 IP addresses. For a PTR request where the authoritative DNS server does not have a domain name associated with the IP address in the request, a DNS answer augmentation system can generate an IP address on the fly using one or more algorithms that take information about the request as an input. Similarly, for an AAAA request where the authoritative DNS server does not have an IP address associated with the domain name in the request, the DNS answer augmentation system can generate a domain name on-the-fly using one or more algorithms that take information about the request as an input. The DNS answer augmentation system can reside between a client or a DNS server and an authoritative DNS server or be a part of the authoritative DNS server.
