Abstract:
A computer-implemented method includes providing location factors for first phrases in a collection of phrases, where each location factor for a first phrase is associated with a likelihood that a second phrase of a search query is associated with a location when the first phrase and the second phrase are used in the search query. A search query is received, where the received search query includes a first phrase from the collection of phrases and a second phrase. Whether the second phrase of the received search query refers to a location is determined based, at least in part, on the location factor for the first phrase of the search query.

Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention provides a system that automatically determines if a location is a standalone location, which can be unambiguously identified by a name for the location alone. During operation, the system determines a name score for the location which indicates a popularity of the name for the location. The system also obtains a signature for the location, wherein the signature is a set of combinations of location specifiers, wherein each combination of location specifiers refers to the location. The system then determines a signature score for the location which indicates a popularity of the signature for the location. Finally, the system determines whether the location is a standalone location based on the name score and the signature score.

Compositions And Methods For Protecting Coatings From The Deleterious Effects Of Exposure To Uv-C Light
Coating compositions having a polymeric binder and a stabilizer composition including at least one of a UV absorber, a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS), or an inorganic UV blocker are provided herein, wherein said coating compositions are more resistant to discoloration when exposed to UV-C (190-280 nm) light compared to the coating compositions in the absence of the stabilizer composition. Thus, a method of stabilizing a coating composition against the deleterious effects of UV-C (190-280 nm) light includes adding to the coating composition an effective amount of such a stabilizer composition, wherein the coating composition is made more resistant to discoloration when exposed to UV-C (190-280 nm) light compared to the coating composition in the absence of the stabilizer composition. Coated articles can be made from the coating composition, and methods of making stabilized coating films include adding the stabilizer composition to the coating composition.
Provided are composition and methods for improving gut microbiome to improve pancreatic function and oral health. The probiotic composition may be administered following depletion of the existing microbiome. The probiotic compositions and methods may be used in the treatment of pancreatic malfunction as in pancreatic cancer or diabetes, or may be applied directly to the oral cavity to improve oral health.
In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides a probiotic applicator, having a handle and a head affixed to the handle. The head is configured to scrape the surface of a tongue. The head includes a plurality of orifices for dispensing a fluid onto the surface of the tongue. The applicator includes a reservoir configured to contain a probiotic composition. The reservoir is in fluid communication with the plurality of orifices. An actuator is configured to allow probiotic composition to flow from the reservoir and through the plurality of orifices when actuated. In another aspect, the present disclosure may be embodied as a method for applying a probiotic composition to a tongue. The method includes scraping a surface of the tongue using a probiotic applicator having a scraping head; and applying the probiotic composition to the scraped surface of the tongue by dispensing through orifices of the probiotic applicator.
The invention provides rechargeable batteries including a solid state electrolyte (SSE) containing an alkali metal disposed between two electrodes. The batteries are volumetrically constrained imparting increased stability under voltage cycling conditions, e.g., through microstructure mechanical constriction on the solid state electrolyte and the electrolyte-electrode interface. These batteries of the invention are advantageous as they may be all-solid-state batteries, e.g., no liquid electrolytes are necessary, and can achieve higher voltages with minimal electrolyte degradation.

Abstract:
A computer-implemented method for debugging an executable control flow graph that specifies control flow among a plurality of functional modules, with the control flow being represented as transitions among the plurality of functional modules, the computer-implemented method including: specifying a position in the executable control flow graph at which execution of the executable control flow graph is to be interrupted; wherein the specified position represents a transition to a given functional module, a transition to a state in which contents of the given functional module are executed or a transition from the given functional module; starting execution of the executable control flow graph in an execution environment; and at a point of execution representing the specified position, interrupting execution of the executable control flow graph; and providing data representing one or more attributes of the execution environment in which the given functional module is being executed.
