Abstract:

Tools, strategies, and techniques are provided for evaluating the identities of different entities to protect business enterprises, consumers, and other entities from fraud by combining biometric activity data with facial recognition data for end users. Risks associated with various entities can be analyzed and assessed based on a combination of user liveliness check data, facial image data, social network data, and/or professional network data, among other data sources. In various embodiments, the risk assessment may include calculating an authorization score or authenticity score based on different portions or combinations of the collected and processed data.

Abstract:

In-vehicle entertainment (WE) monitor systems can be reconfigurable and modular to improve heat dissipation characteristics and to enable separate removal or installation of one or more parts within the WE monitor system without affecting the rest of the IVE monitor system. A modular system for providing in-vehicle entertainment to passengers on a commercial passenger vehicle includes a main housing, a peripheral housing, and a display panel that are separately removable or installable. A main printed circuit board (PCB) in the main housing is electrically connected to a secondary PCB in the peripheral housing via the first data cable and the secondary PCB is electrically connected to the display panel via the second data cable in a series configuration.

Abstract:

Methods for analyzing data files to identify similar files to group for display within a limited visual space of a graphical user interface are provided. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a search query for a collection of media files, and identifying a subset of the media files from the collection that is responsive to the search query. The method also includes grouping the subset of the media files into a plurality of groups based on their visual similarity, wherein the visual similarity of each media file in the subset of media files is determined using an image vector corresponding to each media file, and providing the subset of the media files for display in their respective groups. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.
