Abstract:
A bearing assembly monitoring system includes a bearing assembly supporting rotation of a rotating member. The bearing assembly includes a fixed portion and rotatable portion. A piezoelectric element is mounted to the fixed portion and generates an electric signal in response to a vibration of the fixed portion. A first transceiver is electrically coupled to the piezoelectric element to receive the electrical signal generated by the piezoelectric element and generate a signal indicative of the vibration of the fixed portion. A gas turbine engine bearing monitoring system and a method are also disclosed.

Abstract:
The aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a method and system for producing tomosynthesis images of a breast specimen with the capability of attaining images with geometric magnification. In one embodiment, an x-ray source delivers x-rays through a specimen of excised tissue and forms an image at a digital x-ray detector with the resultant image enlarging as the specimen is moved closer to the x-ray source. Multiple x-ray images are taken as the x-ray source moves relative to the stationary breast specimen. The source may travel substantially along a path while the detector remains stationary throughout and the source remains substantially equidistant from the specimen platform. The set of x-ray image data taken at the different points are combined to form a tomosynthesis image that can be viewed in different formats, alone or as an adjunct to conventional specimen radiography.

Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to the field of a cabinet x-ray incorporating a stationary x-ray source array, and an x-ray detector, for the production of organic and non-organic images. Stationary x-ray digital cabinet tomosynthesis systems and related methods are disclosed. According to one aspect, the subject matter described herein can include an x-ray tomosynthesis system having a plurality of stationary field emission x-ray sources configured to irradiate a location for positioning an object to be imaged with x-ray beams to generate projection images of the object. An x-ray detector can be configured to detect the projection images of the object. A projection image reconstruction function can be configured to reconstruct tomography images of the object based on the projection images of the object. In the preferred embodiment, the x-ray source or sources are statically affixed in a range from about 350 to and including about 10.

Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to the field of a cabinet x-ray incorporating an x-ray tube, an x-ray detector, and a real-time camera, either High Definition or Standard Resolution, for the production of organic and non-organic images. The computing device receives video data from the real-time camera and the x-ray detector and creates, based on the video data, a superimposed image of the captured x-ray image with the captured real-time image. In particular, the disclosure relates to a system and method with corresponding apparatus for capturing a real-time image simultaneously with the x-ray image allowing a cabinet x-ray unit to display a superimposed image of the two images and optimizes the images to result in a superimposed image with exact orientation of the 2 images and overlaying the 2 images on the display.

The present disclosure relates to the field of a cabinet x-ray incorporating an x-ray tube, an x-ray detector, and an optical camera for the production of organic and non-organic images. The computing device receives data including video data from an optical camera, a laser detector, an infrared detector, an ultrasonic detector, or a weight scale or pressure sensor, and determines automatically, based on the resultant data, if a sample/specimen has been left in the sample chamber. In particular, the disclosure relates to a system and method with corresponding apparatus for automatic detection if a sample/specimen has been left in the sample chamber without having to open the chamber door.
