Abstract:
According to an embodiment of the present invention, a web page can be dynamically created by a non-technical person. A technical person can set up a web page and incorporate marketing object containers. A non-technical person, such as a marketing person, then decides what marketing object to put into the various marketing object containers. Style templates, marketing campaigns, and various items associated with the campaigns may be used to create or change the web page. According to an embodiment of the present invention, these marketing object containers may be dynamically associated with different marketing object at different times.

A computer-implemented method for moving information between computing devices includes capturing a digital image of a display of a first computing device using a camera of a second computing device, transmitting, to the first computing device, data that corresponds to the digital image; analyzing the transmitted data on the first computing device to determine whether the digital image matches a current display of the first computing device, and using the analysis to cause one of the first or second computing devices to invoke an application and match a state of an application that is executing on the other of the first or second computing devices.

Abstract:
In general, this disclosure describes techniques for providing a user of a first computing device (e. g. , a mobile device) with the ability to utilize the first computing device to control a second computing device (e. g. , a television). Specifically, the techniques of this disclosure may, in some examples, allow the user to use drawing gestures on a mobile computing device to remotely control and operate the second computing device. Using a presence-sensitive user interface device (e. g. , a touch screen), the user may use drawing gestures to indicate characters associated with operations and commands to control the second computing device.
In general, this disclosure describes techniques for providing a user of a computing device with the ability to perform text-entry operations (e. g. , using a touch screen) on a computing device. Specifically, the techniques of this disclosure may, in some examples, allow the user to use gestures on a mobile computing device to perform text entry and editing operations. Using a presence-sensitive user interface device (e. g. , a touch screen), the user may use gestures to enter text into text-based applications (e. g. , short message service (SMS) messages, e-mail message, uniform resource locators (URLs), and the like). Using visually-defined areas on the touch screen, the user may utilize gestures of certain patterns, relative to the defined areas, to indicate text entry and editing operations such as, for example, deleting characters and words, indicating a space or return characters, and the like.

Abstract:
An adaptive switch mode LED driver provides an intelligent approach to driving multiple strings of LEDs. The LED driver determines an optimal current level for each LED channel from a limited set of allowed currents. The LDO driver then determines a PWM duty cycle for driving the LEDs in each LED channel to provide precise brightness control over the LED channels. Beneficially, the LED driver minimizes the power dissipation in the LDO circuits driving each LED string, while also ensuring that the currents in each LED string are maintained within a limited range. A sample and hold LDO allows PWM control over extreme duty cycles with very fast dynamic response. Furthermore, fault protection circuitry ensures fault-free startup and operation of the LED driver.

Translating User Interaction With A Touch Screen Into Text
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for translating user interaction with a touchscreen into text are provided. In one embodiment, a method comprises receiving information characterizing a first user interaction with a touchscreen; receiving information characterizing a second user interaction with the touchscreen; assigning a probability to each of two or more interpretations of a combination of the first user interaction and the second user interaction, each of the interpretations construing the combination as a different pair of characters, each of the probabilities embodying a likelihood that the first user interaction and the second user interaction represent the respective pair of characters; using the two or more interpretations to search a collection of data for objects that are each identifiable by one of the two or more interpretations; and outputting identifiers of at least some of the objects.
