Abstract:
A p channel thin-film transistor (TFT) made of directly deposited microcrystalline silicon (uc-Si). The p TFT is integrated with its n channel counterpart on a single uc-Si film, to form a complementary metal-silicon oxide-silicon (CMOS) inverter of deposited uc-Si. The uc-Si channel material can be grown at lower temperatures by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition in a process similar to the deposition. The p and n channels share the same uc-Si layer. The Figure shows the processing steps of manufacturing the TFT, where ( ) represents the uc-Si layer of the device.
Analytical Sensitivity Enhancement By Catalytic Transformation
A device and method for quantifying an impurity in an input gas stream. The device and method employ a catalyst to convert the impurity to a detectable species in an output gas stream, and the concentration of the detectable species is then measured by means of a detector.

Abstract:
A method and device for the treatment of anxiety disorder, including panic attacks. A hammer is used to tap the cutaneous region of the bladder channel on the back until the skin turns pink. The skin on the abdomen, arms, legs, and buttocks can also be used for treatment. The hammer preferably has a magnetic piece in one end of the hammer head. The method can treat anxiety disorder including panic attack, general anxiety, phobia, posttraumatic stress disorder, stress related tension headache, insomnia, and any stress. Patients can use the hammer to treat themselves at home, office, and during traveling. The method and device are simple, effective, nontoxic, safe, have no side effects, inexpensive, and convenient.
A novel method and device to control appetite, reduce food craving, reduce excess food consumption and treat other eating disorders is provided by attaching or implanting one or more magnets on the acupoints or areas of the ears of human subjects or animals. The device of the invention includes magnets preferably of a circular configuration, having magnet strength of about 100-14,000 gauss. A magnet is attached on an auricular acupoint or area by adhesive plaster. The magnets, adhesive plasters, an illustration, and instruction will be packed in a kit.

Abstract:
A p channel thin-film transistor (TFT) made of directly deposited microcrystalline silicon (c-Si). The p TFT is integrated with its n channel counterpart on a single c-Si film, to form a complementary metal-silicon oxide-silicon (CMOS) inverter of deposited c-Si. The c-Si channel material can be grown at lower temperatures by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition in a process similar to the deposition of hydrogenated amorphous silicon. The p and n channels share the same c-Si layer.
Method And Device For The Treatment Of Diabetes Mellitus
A method and novel hypoallergenic magnetic device for the treatment of diabetes mellitus is provided by the attachment, mounting or implanting to the ear of the subject along with the provision for supplementing the pancreatic hormones of the subject to assist in the maintenance and stabilization of the blood sugar in diabetic patients. The means for mounting or attaching the magnetic device of the invention includes attachment of the magnetic device by adhesives, adhesive plaster and, where the hypoallergenic materials of the magnet permit, implantation. The device of the invention includes novel hypoallergenic magnetic devices preferably of a circular configuration having a magnetic strength of about 100 to 14,000 gauss which is maintained at one or more locations in the ear 24 hours a day to assist in the lowering and stabilization of the blood sugar within a normal range between doses. The device of the invention may include in a kit one or more circular magnetic devices for external use having a strength from about 100 to 9,000 gauss together with a means for mounting the circular magnetic device in the auricle of the ear which may include a diagram and model of the ear illustrating various locations for attachment in the ear to assist in the placement of the circular magnetic device at one or more locations in the auricle of the ear.
Method And Preparations For The Treatment Of Fungus
A method and preparations for the treatment of vaginal yeast and other yeast infections is provided for the treatment of infections caused by Candida albicans and Cryptococcus neoformans. The method and preparations of the invention can also be used for other yeast and fungal infections including systemic, mucosal and cutaneous caused by Candida and Cryptococcus. The vaginal antiyeast and antifungal preparations include, in addition to suppositories and mouth washes, troches, lotions, creams, tablets and capsules containing gentian preparations as an active ingredient obtained from the plant Radix gentianae Longdancao. For systemic fungal infections gentian preparations from the plant Radix gentianae Longdancao are taken orally in the form of lozenges, tablets, capsules or in solution form for gargling or swallowing.
Method Of Treating Candida And Cryptococcus Fungal Infections By Administering Gentian
