Abstract:
A method for scheduling a network resource comprises adding tokens to first and second accumulators at first and second fill rates, respectively. A number of tokens corresponding to a size of a packet is subtracted from the first accumulator and a highest priority is assigned to a queue with which the packet is associated, if a number of tokens in the first accumulator is greater than zero. The number of tokens is subtracted from the second accumulator, and a default priority assigned to the queue, if the number of tokens in the first accumulator is less than zero and a number of tokens in the second accumulator is greater than zero. The network resource is assigned for transmission of the packet from the queue using a schedule that is based on the priority assigned to the queue. The packet is transmitted using the assigned network resource.

Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide techniques for determining one or more inventory items from an inventory for fulfilling an items order. In one embodiment, one or more sets of inventory items are selected from available inventory to fulfill orders in such a way that a minimum number of inventory item sets are allocated for fulfilling the order. This in turn reduces the number of picks that must be made when gathering inventory items for an order. The inventory items sets may include standard pack quantities and/or indivisible items.
Clocking Of Client Signals Output From An Egress Node In A Network

Abstract:
Consistent with the present disclosure, client data, which may include multiplexed data sub-streams, is supplied to an ingress node of a network. Each sub-stream typically has a corresponding data rate, i.e., an original data rate, prior to multiplexing. The client data is encapsulated in a plurality of successive frames that are output from the ingress node and propagate, typically through one or more intermediate nodes, to an egress node. At the egress node, data rates associated with the sub-streams included in each frame are determined based on the amount of client data in each frame. The data rates are then averaged over a given number of frames to thereby filter any wander or deviation in the client data rate. Based on the averaged data rate, justification opportunities are added to the client data in each sub-stream, which are then multiplexed into frames that are output from the egress node. By including the justification opportunities, the effective rate of each sub-stream may be set equal to the original data rate when the sub-streams are demultiplexed after being output from the egress node. An advantage of the present disclosure is that the justification opportunities, are not generated based solely on clock signals generated by PLL circuits. As a result, fewer PLL circuits are required, thereby simplifying system design and minimizing power consumption.

Abstract:
In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for providing a representational state transfer (REST) service configuration wizard for creating REST reference or proxy services for execution in a service bus runtime. The configuration wizard can retrieve, based on a URI provided by a user, one or more resources of an external REST service, and can generate a plurality of properties for each resource. A plurality of interfaces can be provided to guide the user step by step in creating a REST reference service to access the external REST service. The user can make selections for each property and provide information if necessary. An API can be invoked to generate a REST reference service and a WADL file describing the REST reference service, based on the user's selections and the provided information.
