Police arrest suspect in kidnapping of couple, bank bomb scare
The man, whose name was not immediately released, was in custody after being brought in for questioning on an unrelated case, Fayetteville Police Chief Greg Tabor said. Tabor said he didn't know whether the man knew the couple, Betty and Herbert Davis.Tabor said the man broke into the home and held Betty Davis captive until her husband arrived. Then, the man duct-taped Herbert Davis to a chair and strapped what he said was a bomb to Betty Davis's ankle, authorities said.

Suspect arrested in Arkansas grandmother ankle "bomb" case
Sheriff officials said Herbert Davis knew Bradley only casually from his visits to a coffee shop. They said Bradley was traced by a vehicle that he abandoned and by hardware store purchases. Police also searched Bradley's house and found items linked to the crime, they said.
