Abstract:

A computer chassis includes a metal chassis base portion and a metal chassis top portion. A pivotal connection is provided between the top portion and the base portion for movement of the top portion between an open position and a closed position with the base portion. A tongue and groove edge connection extends between the top portion and the base portion. An adhesive free gasket is mounted in the groove for sealing engagement with the tongue.

An information management system is disclosed and can include a housing that can have a front panel assembly. The front panel assembly can have a frame formed with an opening and a door adjacent to the opening. Further, the system can include a disk drive within the housing. The disk drive can include an open/close button and a disk drive tray that can movable between a retracted position and an extended position. The door of the front panel assembly can be movable between a closed position in which the disk drive is not accessible, an ejection position in which the open/close button is pressed, and an open position in which the disk drive is accessible and the disk drive tray is in the extended position through the opening.

Abstract:

A display support system includes a chassis housing an electronic display and defining a support member channel. A support member is moveably coupled to the chassis. The support member is operable to move between a stored position in which the support member is positioned in the support member channel and a support position in which the support member extends from the chassis. An adjustment member is moveably coupled to the support member. With the chassis engaging a support surface, the adjustment member is operable to engage the support surface and move relative to the support member such that an angle between the electronic display and the support surface may be adjusted. The system allows the electronic display to be supported in either a landscape orientation and a portrait orientation, while allowing the angle between the support surface and the electronic display to be adjusted in either orientation.

An information handling system (IHS) remote input/output (I/O) connection system includes an enclosure having a power button, a communication bus connection point, and an audio connection point. A cable dongle extends from the enclosure. The cable dongle has a first end and a second end. An information handling system includes a memory and a processor to execute instructions stored in the memory, which causes the processor to at least: send identification information to a second information handling system in response to an identification request broadcast from the second information handling system via a short-range communication; receive first authentication information for a local application and a remote service from the second information handling system; receive a copy of the local application; authenticate a user for the copy of the local application and for the remote service prior to the user logging on to the information handling system; receive second authentication information from the user to access the information handling system; authenticate the user to the information handling system; and automatically initiate a secure session between the copy of the local application and the remote service when the user is authenticated to the information handling system.
