Abstract:

A computer readable storage medium has executable instructions to select a plurality of macroblocks in a video sequence to be coded as anchor macroblocks, the anchor macroblocks distributed across the video sequence and facilitating random access decoding of a portion of the video sequence. The video sequence is coded into a bit stream. Auxiliary information associated with the anchor macroblocks is generated. The auxiliary information associated with the anchor macroblocks is inserted in a supplementary section of the bit stream.

Intra prediction modes are selected for all intra-coded blocks in a macroblock based on original pixels of neighboring blocks. The mode selection of all intra-coded blocks can be conducted in parallel. The intra-coded blocks in the macroblock are predicted with the selected intra prediction modes based on reconstructed pixels of neighboring blocks.

An apparatus, system, method, and a non-transitory recording medium storing an image inspection control program, each of which is capable of inspecting a printed image based on comparison between a read image read from the printed image and an inspection image. As a portion of the read image is obtained, the size of the obtained portion of the read image is corrected to match the size of the inspection image, using a magnification ratio previously obtained. Abstract:

An electronic device may include an electronic display to display an image based on processed image data. The electronic device may also include image processing circuitry to determine a hierarchical grid having multiple grid points divided into grid partitions. A first set of grid points associated with a first set of grid partitions may include a first set of mappings to corresponding coordinates of input image data in a source frame. The image processing circuitry may also interpolate between the first set of grid points to determine a second set of grid points of having a second set of mappings to corresponding coordinates of the input image data based on the first set of mappings. The image processing circuitry may also generate the processed image data by applying the first set of mappings and the second set of mappings to the input image data.
