Abstract:

An aerial work platform apparatus includes a shiftable counterweight which shifts in response to movement of the boom in order to maintain optimum balance of the apparatus during movement of the boom and platform. The counterweight shifts towards and away from the front of the apparatus, and also in a vertical direction. Several constructions for shifting the counterweight are disclosed.

Abstract:

A method is disclosed. The method includes determining an amount of energy needed to change a first sample temperature of a first sample to a target temperature when a temperature changing element that changes the sample temperature is at the target temperature. Data associated with the amount of energy needed to change the sample temperature of the sample to the target temperature is then stored. The stored data may thereafter be used to quickly change a second sample temperature of a second sample to the target temperature, without having the second sample temperature exceed the target temperature.

Abstract:

A computer program permits a user to simulate configuring add-in boards for a computer system. A board may be "pulled" from an inventory list for inspection, and may be "inserted" into any legal slot in the computer system. The program can automatically generate any permissible configurations for the board, i. e. , configuration of the board's address resource allocations that avoid conflicts with the address resource allocations of other, already-installed boards. The user may select from among permissible configurations; for a selected configuration, the user may display to screen or printer a drawing of the switch- and jumper settings on the board that are needed to implement the selected configuration.

Abstract:

Pathways between reference locations in a physical system are generated based on a layout table. Nodes and edges of the directed graph are associated with cell locations of the layout table. The cell locations define features of the reference locations. Parameters of the nodes and edges are defined based on descriptors recalled from the cells associated with the nodes and edges. The nodes and edges are configured based on the descriptors. Path data regarding potential pathways is generated based on the defined nodes and edges.

Abstract:

A coating analyzer is configured to receive electronic image data of a physical coating and to generate information regarding the pigments of the physical coating. The coating analyzer applies a computer vision model trained on baseline image data to the electronic image data. The coating analyzer assigns color values to the pigments forming the electronic image data and generates pigment groups based on the assigned color values. The pigment groups provide color palette data regarding the pigments forming the coating.

A health evaluator is configured to determine future patient health.
