Abstract:

A crucible has a first resistance heater is disposed in spaced relation above the top of the crucible and a second resistance heater with a first resistive section disposed in spaced relation beneath the bottom of the crucible and with a second resistive section disposed in spaced relation around the outside of the side of the crucible. The crucible is charged with a seed crystal at the top of an interior of the crucible and a source material in the interior of the crucible in spaced relation between the seed crystal and the bottom of the crucible. Electrical power of a sufficient extent is applied to the first and second resistance heaters to create in the interior of the crucible a temperature gradient of sufficient temperature to cause the source material to sublimate and condense on the seed crystal thereby forming a growing crystal.

Abstract:

A wafer treatment system including a load lock chamber in communication with a process chamber. At least one cradle is provided in the load lock chamber, each cradle being adapted to receive a wafer-holding cassette. The wafers contained in the cassettes assume angularly justified positions. A multiaxial transfer unit picks up wafers from the cassettes and delivers them to the process chamber for treatment after which they are returned to the cassettes. Because all of the wafers lean in the same direction and to the same degree in their cassette slots, an end effector carried by the multiaxial transfer unit can reliably capture and release the wafers in order to consistently remove them from and place them into the cassettes.

Abstract:

A refillable dispenser including a casing and a platform for receiving consumable material. A knob rotatably mounted at a bottom end of the dispenser is mechanically coupled to the platform such that rotating the knob moves the platform up or down within the dispenser. Gripping arms connected to the platform are configured to flex toward a longitudinal axis and engage the consumable material when the platform is away from a top travel position such that the consumable material is secured to the platform. The gripping arms are configured to flex away from the longitudinal axis and release the consumable material from the platform when the platform is at the top travel position.
