Bragging Rights:

"The Awakening" is a play I wrote and directed in 2008 that won a spot in the Silver Spring Stage play festival. It had a Christian theme to it along with government cover ups and a psychological thriller aspect to it. It was quite controversial at the time. The lead actors quit because they said they didn't know if they could say such things on stage. The original director asked for my help and guidance. On my way to the theatre she called me and said she too is quitting the play. After a battle with the stage board, they allowed me to direct my own play and it was quite a rewarding experience! I need to continue this writing endeavor as that was the most fulfilled I've ever felt work wise! Around 2001 I started to really learn about God, biblical principles and natural health. Had a close friend and mentor end up being diagnosed with a terminal cancerous tumor around his liver. I took alot of time off from the video store and went on a natural health plan with him. He refused chemo and radiation. He slowly got better and better. We began to put together health seminars and videos. I learned alot during this time in my life. I learned about why the medical industry is going down the wrong road. I learned biblical health principles that would change my life forever! God is good and wants to heal us...we need to learn His way of natural healing! Ask me if interested..."The Locusts" was a movie filmed in the late 90's in Texas when I was living there. They had a casting call for featured ranch hands to play in the movie. I got a role! No speaking, but I do have a pretty cool fight scene with Vince Vaughn! Also, I just know Ashley Judd was flirting with me lol! Ask me about her hitting me on the head with a water bottle lol. Was an awesome experience...got to see Steven Spielberg on the set (he wasn't the director, just out there for his wife Kate Capshaw)...this spawned a desire to be an actor for a while. Got a couple of other small roles in "Runaway Bride"...filmed in a town I spent time in growing up. There's a side story to this role as I wasn't too happy with my roommate at the time to say the least...ask me. And also a small role in an indie film called D.I.N. (Digital Identification Number) I played a government assassin!
