Awards:
University Olmsted Scholar Faculty at Iowa State University I was nominated by the faculty as Iowa State University's Olmsted Scholar. The Landscape Architecture Foundation Olmsted Scholars Program recognizes and supports students with exceptional leadership potential who are using ideas, influence, communication, service, and leadership to advance sustainable design and foster human and societal benefits. American Society of Landscape Architects Student Merit Award Iowa ASLA Award was given based on academic scholarship and accomplishments and skill related to the art and technology of landscape architecture. In addition, the jury looked at personal qualities and skills in responsiveness and willingness to work with others; self motivation, responsibility, and leadership. Design abilities including exploration, discovery, synthesis, & representation of landscape architecture design was also considered. Cardinal Key Honor Society Member Iowa State University, Cardinal Key After an intense vetting process, which included a nomination, essay, and formal interview I was inducted into Cardinal Key. Carinal Key Honor Society has been Iowa State University's premier honor society since 1926 recognizing outstanding leadership, service, scholarship, and character of its students, faculty, and staff.
