2016 WSOP November Nine Reduced To Five After First Day's Play
Cliff Josephy, Michael Ruane, Gordon Vayo, Kenny Hallaert, Jerry Wong, Griffin Benger, Vojtech Ruzicka, Fernando Pons and Qui Nguyen were all guaranteed to walk away with a million dollars even before the final table commenced as the guaranteed prize pool was over $63 million. Josephy led the table player to be eliminated on day 1 was Griffin Benger from Canada who took home $1,250,190. The fourth player to be eliminated was Kenny Hallaert who finished in 6th place and won $1,464, 258. Qui Nguyen took out Hallaert and had a good day at the office and will enter Day 2 feeling a lot more confident.
