US Classification:

Abstract:
A compact developer concentrate composition for color photographic development that has a reduced number of parts is described. The compact developer concentrate composition includes a concentrate and a coated solid. The coating of the solid remains insoluble in the concentrate, but is easily dissolved upon mixing with water to prepare a replenisher and/or working strength developer. The compact developer concentrate composition is stable, compact, easy to use, has good water solubility upon dilution with water, minimizes mixing errors, and remains free of degradation during long-term storage. A method of processing image-wise exposed photographic color silver halide emulsions using the developer concentrate composition is also provided.

Abstract:
A system for implementing Incremental Redundancy (IR) operations in a wireless receiver includes a baseband processor, an equalizer, a system processor, and an IR processing module. The baseband processor receives an analog signal corresponding to a data block and samples the analog signal to produce samples. The equalizer receives the samples from the baseband processor, equalizes the samples, and produces soft decision bits corresponding to the data block. The equalizer may be implemented as a distinct processing component or may be performed by the baseband processor or system processor. The system processor receives at least the soft decision bits and initiates IR operations. The IR processing module receives the soft decision bits of the data block and performs IR operations on the data block in an attempt to correctly decode a corresponding data block.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a multi-branch equalizer processing module operable to cancel interference associated with received radio frequency (RF) burst(s). This multi-branch equalizer processing module includes both a first equalizer processing branch and a second equalizer processing branch. The first equalizer processing branch is operable to be trained based upon known training sequences and equalize the received RF burst. This results in soft samples or decisions which in turn may be converted to data bits. The soft samples are processed with a de-interleaver and channel decoder, where the combination is operable to produce a decoded frame of data bits from the soft samples. A re-encoder may re-encode the decoded frame to produce re-encoded or at least partially re-encoded data bits. An interleaver then processes the at least partially re-encoded data bits to produce and at least partially re-encoded burst. The second equalizer processing branch uses the at least partially re-encoded data bits to train linear equalizer(s) within the second equalizer processing branch.
Induction Motor Having The Rotor Located Within A Shell
The magnetic flux generated by stator electrical winding can flow inside motor stator structure, so it is unnecessary to put the stator electrical winding and the rotor in the same medium. The stator and rotor can be separated by repositioning the dome of a hermetic (or semi hermetic) refrigeration (or air condition) system inside the motor. The rotor and compressor are sealed inside the dome and the stator electrical winding is outside of the dome or shell. The compressor powered by this induction motor design can be much safer and more reliable to operate even in more critical environment (like pumping and compressing poison, dangerous gas). It will also be easier to fix a motor with a detachable stator design.

Abstract:
A laser markable media that can provide superior mark quality with high contrast, high resolution, and a high degree of quality consistency, and that does not rely on physical damages to the material integrity on the exposed area. The laser markable media further provides a balanced performance between good media storage stability, heat resistance and optimum sensitivity to laser exposure. Also disclosed is a laser markable media that has a high degree of transparency to satisfy a wider range of application requirements than found in the prior art and a method of using the media.

Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a coating composition comprising a vinyl acrylic copolymer latex wherein said copolymer latex has a water contact angle of about 60 or higher on the dried latex film surface, wherein said copolymer latex further has a specific water vapor permeability of about 0.5 mg/cm/mm/24 hr. The invention is also directed to the copolymer latex itself. Further, the invention is a method of improving a coating's ability to withstand a high humidity environment comprising adding a vinyl acrylic copolymer latex to the coating composition wherein said copolymer latex has a water contact angle of about 60 or higher on the dried latex film surface, and wherein said copolymer latex further has a specific water vapor permeability of about 0.5 mg/cm/mm/24 hr.
