Abstract:
An auditory user interactive interface to an application program being installed in the computer controlled system. A routine in an object, in an application program being installed in the computer controlled system for providing an auditory user interface to the program in combination with auditory means for offering the user of the computer controlled system the auditory user interface during installation of said application program, and responsive to the selection of the auditory interface provides the auditory user interface during said installation of the application program. The functional object in the application program being installed includes the routine for providing the auditory interface preferably implemented in Text to Speech (TTS) functions together with an implementation for determining whether the computer controlled system receiving the application program includes a TTS engine compatible with the TTS functions in the application program and a routine for installing a TTS engine compatible with the routine when the computer controlled system does not include the TTS engine.

Abstract:
Provided is a pre-configuration system and method for defining user configuration preferences for consumer devices and computer software and hardware at time of purchase and, then, automatically configuring the target devices when the device is packaged or first used. Information gathered in conjunction with the purchase of a target device is employed to determine the user configuration and then the user configuration is applied to the target device. A target device and associated hardware are imbedded with RFID tags thus enabling elimination of the configuration of a device by the end user. As a result, both user documentation and support calls are reduced. This is accomplished using RFID technology that enables labor free, automated transmittal of configuration data to the user device.

Abstract:
A method, computer program product, and data processing system for secure automated dispensing of prescription medications are disclosed. A preferred embodiment of the present invention utilizes broadcast encryption to encrypt a prescription for storage on a machine-readable medium that is pre-written with a key management block (KMB). The KMB encodes a session key needed to read from or write to the medium. Each prescription-writing device and medication dispensing device is assigned a unique set of device keys, which are used to recover the session key from the medium. Only authorized devices are able to recover the session key from a medium's KMB. Thus, only authorized devices may read or validly write prescriptions from/to the machine-readable medium. Hence, only authorized providers can write fillable prescriptions and only authorized dispensers can dispense medications to fill those prescriptions.

Abstract:
A method, system, and computer program product for integrating Health Care Payers and Providers with a health care transaction system. The health care transaction (HCT) utility solves the problem of integration between these two parties by providing the developer with an application that is capable of automatically generating an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) response message to a request. The HCT utility mainly consists of a servlet (associated with the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) or other data communication protocol) that forwards an EDI request from a sending party to applications that may act as either a payer or provider. These applications may automatically process and respond to request EDI messages sent from other applications using an EDI processor application. The HCT utility provides the advantage of providing an infrastructure for testing healthcare transactions. Furthermore, the infrastructure enables testing of a variety of transactions from multiple sources. Additionally, clearinghouse testing may now be automated.

Abstract:
A method and program product for automatically generating reports matching user interests represented in a dynamically adjusted user interest analytic model (UIAM). A Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) query is generated based on a user visit to a business intelligence application. Based on initial user visit(s), a cube-based UIAM is constructed by including a representation of a first set of user interest(s) in a first set of UIAM item(s). The cube-based UIAM is transformed into a data warehouse-based UIAM. Based on subsequent user visit(s), UIAM items are updated to represent a second set of user interest(s) and UIAM item scores are adjusted to specify how frequently and recently user interests are indicated by the user visits. An update of data in the data warehouse is detected. Reports representative of user interest(s) represented by the updated UIAM items having the top k scores are generated.
A method and system for improving a network search query is provided. The method includes receiving a natural language Internet search request and executing a real time search with respect to a database associated with an Internet based search for specified digital information. Categories associated with the natural language Internet search request are identified and associated intent information is received. Digital attributes data identified during the real time search are identified and an associated concept is extracted. The associated concept is mapped to the digital attributes and search based software code is generated and executed. Resulting relevant results are presented and the database is configured such that the relevant results are stored within a logical partition of the database.

Abstract:
A method and system for improving a network search query is provided. The method includes executing a real time search with respect to a database associated with an Internet based search for specified digital information. Digital attributes of digital data identified during the real time search are identified and keywords associated with the digital attributes are ranked. In response, search based software code associated with an Internet search for the digital information is generated and associated real time user interactions are recorded. The search based software code is modified resulting in generation of modified search based software code. The modified search based software code is executed and relevant results associated with the Internet based search are presented via a GUI. The database is configured such that the modified search is stored within a logical partition of the database.
