Abstract:

An integrated circuit is disclosed that provides improved matching between I and Q paths in radio receiver circuits. The integrated circuit comprises at least one circuit element that is divided into a first half strength circuit element located in a first area of a module and a second half strength circuit element located in a second area of the module. The first and second areas are oppositely located with respect to a central area of the module and minimize component mismatch by averaging out process gradients within the module. Methods for laying out the circuit elements of the integrated circuit are also disclosed.

Abstract:

An amplifier stage comprises a transistor, an output load, at least two resistive elements, and at least two control switches. The transistor has an input terminal, an output terminal and a ground terminal. The load has a first terminal coupled to the transistor output terminal and a second terminal coupled to a positive power supply source. A first resistive element comprises a first resistor having a first terminal and a second terminal, and a first diode having an anode coupled to the transistor ground terminal and a cathode coupled to the first terminal of the first resistor. A second resistive element comprises a second resistor having a first terminal and a second terminal, and a second diode having an anode coupled to the transistor ground terminal and a cathode coupled to the first terminal of second resistor. The first control switch couples the diode cathode to the positive power supply source. The second control switch couples the second diode cathode to the positive power supply source, wherein a gain of the amplifier stage is controlled by selectively closing the first and second control switches.

Abstract:

A computerized system to determine and predict the mental agility and mood of a user by compiling a list of questions based on recently viewed and or listened to recreational media content. Comparing the user's responses with their peer group and the user's historical record enables the system to determine a deviation in mental agility and or emotional state. Deviation from the expected response indicates a change in the user's mood or mental state. Alerts may be sent when these deviations are detected.
