An expandable storage system for securely storing materials of various shapes and sizes in an organized, easily identifiable and accessible manner. One or more rows of support members are removeably secured upon a panel so that their positions on the panel may be easily changed in order to secure materials of varying sizes and shapes. A resilient upper support member applies downward pressure on stored materials so that they are held securely against the other support members in order to minimize movement. Additional panels may be quickly added to the system by snapping hinge members to the panel edge and connecting those hinge members, by gravity support, to hinge members on an adjacent panel. Locations are provided for labels and other information relating to stored materials, with no separate space required for the label location. The storage system may be removeably mounted on a structural surface during use and may be secured in a closed configuration similar to a suitcase for transporting.
Electrical Heating System Including A Mesh Heating Element

US Classification:

Abstract:
An electrical heating system for use in heating surfaces. A heating element is constructed of mesh screen comprised of small gauge wires which are spaced in a close mesh arrangement such that the total surface area of the wires is substantially equal to or greater than the adjacent area of the surface to be heated. The longitudinal wires are electrically conductive and are preferably made of a nonferrous metal and the transverse wires are coated with an insulating material. The heating element is positioned substantially parallel to and adjacent the surface to be heated. The heating system includes electronic circuitry which essentially eliminates transmission of power surges, voltage spikes and chatter when the heating system is connected to an alternating current power source. The heating system also includes protective circuits and devices for preventing injury or damage due to transformer overheating, or due to under-current or over-current conditions. An optional electronic circuit permits use of the device for prevention formation of ice on surfaces in an efficient and economical manner.
An apparatus and method for using a multi-purpose tool having a handle with a shaft affixed thereto and a cylinder assembly disposed to longitudinally slide on the shaft between positions in which the shaft is fully extended or fully retracted. While in the fully retracted position, a cylinder having a plurality of chambers housing different tips may be rotated about its axis, which is offset from the shaft, until the desired tip aligns with and engages the shaft in coupling engagement. The shaft is then extended to its fully extended position, thus extending the tip and permitting free rotation of the working tip for use in performing work on a workpiece. Changing the tip requires retracting the shaft, rotating the cylinder to engage the next desired tip, and extending the shaft back to its fully extended position. The multi-purpose tool may be attached to a power tool for power driven rotation.

Abstract:
A versatile chained tool set having a plurality of tools consisting of any desired working tips such as an open-end wrench, a box-end wrench, a fractional or metric wrench, socket drives, spline drives, spanner wrenches, screwdrivers of all styles, or tools such as taps, easy outs, allen wrenches or other similar tools. Each tool is formed as part of a link and each link is joined to an adjacent tool link so that the various tools are chained together. When using one of the tools, the chain can be folded or collapsed to form a rigid and strong hand piece which can then be used to apply the torque or other force necessary to operate the tool.
An electrical heating system for use in heating surfaces. A heating element is constructed of mesh screen comprised of nonferrous, small gauge metal wires which are spaced in a cloth mesh arrangement such that the total surface area of the wires is substantially equal to or greater than the adjacent area of the surface to be heated. A support device for mounting objects on a wall includes a wall bracket and a hanger. The wall bracket is mounted on a wall by means of two openings, thereby preventing rotational movement of the bracket. The wall bracket also has an elongated stabilizer. The hanger includes a hanging notch and a separate centering notch, and is attached to the object to be hung. The hanger is engaged on the wall bracket by means of the hanging notch, while the centering notch straddles the stabilizer, thus counteracting rotational forces and maintaining the object spaced from the wall. The stabilizer also acts as a centering device which is adjustably bent until the desired orientation is obtained. The object can be removed and replaced with the same orientation by means of the adjusted stabilizer.
