Abstract:

A protective device to be worn around the wrist of the user may include a wristband to be positioned around the wrist of the user and a hand band to be positioned around the wrist of the user in a first state and to be positioned around the hand of the user and a second state. An automatic target recognizer system including: a database that stores target recognition data including multiple reference features associated with each of multiple reference targets; a pre-selector that selects a portion of the target recognition data based on a reference gating feature of the multiple reference features; a preprocessor that processes an image received from an image acquisition system which is associated with an acquired target and determines an acquired gating feature of the acquired target; a feature extractor and processor that discriminates the acquired gating feature with the reference gating feature and, if there is a match, extracts multiple segments of the image and detects the presence, absence, probability or likelihood of one of multiple features of each of the multiple reference targets; a classifier that generates a classification decision report based on a determined classification of the acquired target; and a user interface that displays the classification decision report.

A passive control tool may include a ball, a handle having a first end and a second end, the first end affixed to the ball, a weapon trap coupled to the second end of the handle and having ribbing around its circumference, an arm trap adjacent to weapon trap and having a striking base, a hook having a first end and a second end, the first end of the hook coupled to the arm trap, the hook positioned opposite the weapon trap at a width such that the arm trap may be used to trap an appendage of a human subject, and a nerve point nub protruding from the hook that may press directly on the human subject to cause compliance. The passive control tool has an overall length from the ball to the striking base of approximately 16.5 inches and a width of approximately 7.5 inches.

Abstract:

A grip band used for working out, has a wrist strap and a grip pad. The wrist strap is positioned around a user's wrist and provides the wrist with support, while the grip pad provides a grip surface having a high coefficient of friction, which enhances the user's grip. A proximal end of the grip pad is fixedly connected to the wrist strap, while a distal end can be removably attached. When in use the distal end is detached from the wrist strap and placed across the user's palm with the grip surface facing away from the palm. A finger strap ensures the grip pad remains in position across the palm. When not in use, the grip pad can be concealed by encircling the grip pad around the wrist strap and engaging a pad fastener with a strap fastener.
