Abstract:

A method and system for processing an automotive warranty claim include capturing at least one digital image of a vehicle-related customer concern with a digital camera device. A barcode identifying the vehicle is scanned with a barcode scanning device. Upon establishing operable communication between a first computer and the digital camera device and the barcode scanning device, respectively, the at least one digital image and the barcode information are automatically downloaded into the first computer. Dialog is input into the first computer requesting warranty coverage for the customer concern. A claimset comprising the digital images, barcode and request for warranty coverage is transmitted to a second computer via a communication network. The claimset is reviewed at the second computer to decide whether warranty coverage will be provided. The claimset is updated with the decision and transmitted back to the first computer via the communication network.

Abstract:

Abstract:

Various techniques and procedures related to filtering objects in a virtual application within a multi-tenant system are provided. One approach involves providing a first graphical user interface element enabling indication of a first filtering criterion and a second graphical user interface element enabling indication of a second filtering criterion within the virtual application being accessed over a network from a client device. After indication of the first filtering criterion and the second filtering criterion, a filtered set of objects is identified based on the first filtering criterion and the second filtering criterion. At least a portion of the filtered set of objects may then be presented within the virtual application on a client device.

The present invention relates to methods for diagnosis of susceptibility to alcoholism or the pathological effects of alcoholism based on detection of a genetic marker in an individual. The present invention is directed generally to methods and associated compositions and kits for detecting the presence of arylsulfatase A (ASA) pseudodeficiency (PD) mutations in humans.
