If you're like me, when you've made contact with someone over the internet, you can't help but wonder "Just who is this guy, and is he the type of person I should be doing business with?" Although a wonderful resource, the internet can be so anonymous that it can be frightening. So, allow me to introduce myself. Having been born and raised right here in the Lowcountry, and having family members scattered throughout the region, I'm very familiar with the entire tri-county area. In fact, my ancestors settled here circa 1680, so I'm about as local as you can get. Of course, when it comes to buying Real Estate, there's no substitute for local knowledge. After graduating from college with a BS degree in Industrial Management, I spent two years overseas in the Navy before starting my career as a Plant Engineer. I advanced to Plant Manager for several companies, running plants of up to 400 employees. After 24 years in the Garment Manufacturing business, I returned to my home town in 1995, and found my true calling in Real Estate. It was the best decision I ever made. I truly enjoy my work. I have never experienced a greater satisfaction than helping people find and buy the right home for their family's needs, and the excitement of handing them the keys to their new home on closing day! In fact, over the years, I have had clients who have allowed me the pleasure of helping them through as many a five transactions! Many of my clients have become long-term friends as well. My wife and I have 5 Children, who have presented us with 10 Grandchildren (so far!), which may explain my "Family-First" philosophy when it comes to my business. That's part of the reason that I do not believe in being the kind of pushy salesman that is more interested in making a sale than the best interests of the client. My goal is to be there to help when the time is right for you, with the right help and solid advice. I hope you will allow me the pleasure of becoming your Realtor.
