Abstract:
Storage stable pesticide compositions comprising neem seed extracts which contain azadirachtin as the active pesticidal ingredient wherein the compositions are characterized by their non-degrading solvent systems. In a first embodiment, the pesticide compositions contain solvent systems characterized as having greater than 50% by volume aprotic solvents and less than 15% by volume water. In a second embodiment, the pesticide compositions contain solvent systems characterized as having greater than 50% by volume alcohol and less than 5% by volume water. The pesticide compositions contain surfactant concentrations of at least about 1. 0%, up to 10%.

Abstract:
A fungal biocontrol preparation for control or prevention of plant fungal diseases comprises sporulated fungal biomass, a carrier and acid. The carrier preferably is vermiculite. The biocontrol preparation is resistant to bacterial proliferation in storage and handling and is effective in controlling damping-off diseases caused by soilborne fungal pathogens.

Abstract:
Novel fungicide compositions prepared from neem seeds are disclosed. Two distinct neem derived fungicides obtained non-polar, hydrophobic solvent neem seed extracts which are substantially free of azadirachtin, by removing the hydrophobic solvent and cooling the resulting neem oil to separate a semi-solid neem wax fraction and a clarified neem oil fraction.

Abstract:
A process is disclosed for catalyzing the transamination of an amino acid precursor to the corresponding L-amino acid by using aspartic acid as the amino donor and by adding certain multivalent metal ions, in the form of solid metal particles or pieces, to the system to catalyze the decomposition of oxalacetic acid, a by-product of the transamination.

Abstract:
A novel fungicide derived from a neem seed extract comprising neem oil which is substantially free of azadirachtin, said neem oil being prepared by extracting dried, coarsely ground neem seeds with a non-polar, hydrophobic solvent to obtain a neem oil extract, and then removing the solvent to obtain the neem oil. These neem oil fungicides exhibit the ability to control various fungi.

Abstract:
In an insecticidal formulation containing Pyrethrum, addition of appropriate amounts of azadirachtin and clarified neem oil can significantly synergize the Pyrethrum activity while reducing or eliminating the need for Pipronyl butoxide as an agent to augment Pyrethrum activity. The disclosed formulations represent a significant cost advantage when compared to existing Pyrethrum/Pipronyl butoxide formulations.
