Kathy Allison-Zimmermann, ABR, CDPE, CHMS, CRB, CRS, GRI, has been a REALTOR since 1983 and is currently a broker/owner of RE/MAX Community Realty in Lake Mills. As a member of the Jefferson County Board of REALTORS, Kathy has served on the Board of Directors, in several positions, since 1987, including president for two terms. Kathy was chosen REALTOR of the Year for Jefferson County in 1989 and again in 1991. In 2004, Kathy and her business partner, Barry Luce, were named the WI Small Market Broker/Owner of Year by the RE/MAX North Central Region, and in 2005 she appointed to the RE/MAX North Central Executive Council. At the state level of the REALTORS Association, Kathy has served as a State Director for eight years and has been active, including serving as chairman of several state committees. She has been a Real Estate School Trustee for many years and awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the WRA(Wisconsin REALTORS Association) in 2006, the highest award honor given to a REALTOR within the state. Kathy was the 2010 Wisconsin CRS(Certified Residential Specialist) Chapter President. Under her leadership the WI CRS Chapter was awarded the Chapter of the Year Award (in the medium sized chapter category of 27 chapters) in 2010 by the National Council of Residential Specialists. On the personal side, Kathy was born and raised in Lake Mills. She raised her family of three children in Lake Mills, all of which are still in the Lake Mills area, along with 7 grandchildren. What a blessing they are! Six grandsons and only one granddaughter. Home is truly where the heart is and Kathy wants to help everyone fulfill their dreams for their family and home.
