Abstract:
This invention provides a method to identify compounds potentially useful for the treatment and prevention of neoplasia in mammals. The phosphodiesterase inhibitory activity of a compound is determined along with its ability to elevate JNK kinase activity. Growth inhibitory and apoptosis inducing effects on cultured tumor cells are also determined. Compounds that exhibit phosphodiesterase inhibition, an ability to elevate JNK kinase activity, growth inhibition and apoptosis induction are desirable for the treatment of neoplasia.

Abstract:
A media system that centrally manages and stores media contents and also controls the delivery of media content to subscribers is disclosed. According to one aspect, an administrator can control program scheduling, rates, service packages and system configuration for a media delivery system. Additionally, the administrator may also control billing, transaction monitoring, and customer relations. According to another aspect, the media delivery system provides subscribers with centrally managed storage for paused or recorded media. Still another aspect is that the media delivery system can restrict various administrators to different modules of the media delivery system.
Apparatus and methods for translation processing. The apparatus may be a transaction system including a keypad, a circuit for interacting with the transaction customer and a link communicatively connecting the keypad and the customer-interaction circuit. The cashier may interact with the keypad, while the customer (and not the cashier) may interact with the customer-interaction circuit. The link may communicate a dollar amount for the transaction between the keypad and the customer-interaction circuit. Accessories for the keypad may include a display. Accessories for the customer-interaction circuit may include a smart-card reader, a magnetic-strip reader, a check reader, a receipt printer and a biometric-information circuit. The customer-interaction circuit may include a port for connection to a remote service provider. That port may be the only remote-access port in the transaction system.

Abstract:
Systems and methods for delivering media over a network are provided. Multiple media assets are stored on a server, as well as a representation for at least one media asset. The representation of a media asset is delivered to a client. A client user request based on selection of a representation is received, and the represented media asset is delivered from the server in response to the client user request.
Method For Providing Data Analysis Service By A Service Provider To Data Owner And Related Data Transformation Method For Preserving Business Confidential Information Of The Data Owner
Methods for providing data analysis service by a service provider to a data owner are described. The data owner transmits training data to the data analysis service provider, and the latter computes a model from the training data. In one method, the service provider transmits the model back to the data owner, which uses the model to generate predictions from prediction input. In another method, the data owner further transmits prediction input to the service provider, and the latter uses the computed model and the prediction input to generate predictions and then transmits the predictions back to the data owner. Prior to transmitting the training data and the prediction input, the data owner performs variable name anonymization and a variable transformation on the training data and prediction data point to obscure the meaning of the variables in the data. This prevents possible misuse of the data owner's data by unauthorized parties.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a self-authenticated tag generation method and interpretation method used in the self-authenticated key system, which comprises the following steps: inputting data by the publisher; generating tag via a self-authenticated tag device by the publisher; transmitting generated tag to the receiver; interpreting tag via the self-authenticated tag device by the receiver; and displaying data. The present invention is easy and safe, the generated self-authenticated tag can be transmitted by various carriers, can distinguish the object and upload abundant information without easily tampered. Moreover, the acquisition of the public key is not achieved by the third party, which decreases wasting the network resources, and avoids the unsecure factors brought by the third party.

Abstract:
A method of generating multi-dimensional key comprises both generating three-dimensional coordinate sequences and generating public key and private key, wherein generating three-dimensional coordinate sequences is: setting the base of three-dimensional key as M comprising of m×l×h key elements, each layer in a three-dimensional matrix being a two dimension matrix sized m×l along Z axis, wherein, m is the number of rows in each layer of M, l is the number of columns in each layer of M, k=1, . . . , h; the public key and private key are generated in a manner consistent with the generation of the three-dimensional coordinate sequences. In the present invention, the coordinates of a matrix are picked up by ID-coordinates transformation under the condition of a multi-dimensional matrix, which employs the method of hierarchical processing. The number of key combinations of multi-dimensional matrix is far higher than that of the two-dimensional matrix with the guarantee of not changing data size, thereby increasing the capacity of the key database, and enhancing the availability of the key data package.
