Abstract:
An edge application handover client in a user equipment may use application client information, such as type service, provider, location, context, and sendee requirements, to assist seamless edge application handovers of application clients between edge application servers. For example, a handover client may use context information to determine an anticipated route of the user equipment, and thereby determine a next, edge application server for a handoff. The handover client may weigh the needs of multiple application clients m selecting servers for handovers. The handover client may issue requests to servers requesting assistance in handover operations, and may issue subscription requests to servers, and further may determine the success of handovers by monitoring application state synchronization or migration between edge application handover servers.

Abstract:
A Data Sample Collection Service (DSCS) may be configured to receive various data sample collection requests from users and to process the one or more requests on behalf of the users. In order to properly describe what kind of Ready-to-Use Data Samples (RDS) a user needs, the DSCS may adopt a Data Sample Template (DST). By using the DST, the user can clearly depict what their desired data samples look like, along with various quality requirements regarding the data samples. The DSCS can further provide a DST Management function to users. In general, DST management involves the processes of DST creation, DST update, DST deletion and DST activation/de-activation. For example, a user may create a DST based on its data sample collection needs. Later, the created DST can also be updated and/or deleted based on dynamic changes to the needs of the user.

Abstract:
Systems and methods for suggesting a bid adjustment value based on device type include receiving parameters for a third-party content provider's campaign to present third-party content on a first type of device. Based on the campaign's parameters, bids from peer providers that use similar campaign parameters for both the first type of device and another type of device may be identified. For example, bids from providers that use similar parameters as the campaign for both mobile and desktop devices may be identified. The identified bids from the peer providers may be used to calculate a bid adjustment value. The bid adjustment value can be provided for presentation to the third-party content provider as a suggested change to his or her bid for the first type of device, to establish a bid for the second type of device.
