The floatable planter is employed in a body of water, such as a fish pond, in order to prevent the growth of algae. The planter employs an aquatic pot for receiving a plant, a peat pot having a planting medium for receiving the aquatic pot, a floatation ring about the aquatic pot, a mass of decomposable material selected from the group consisting of barley straw and lavender, and a mesh bag that envelopes the pots, floatation ring and decomposable material. As the decomposable material decomposes, hydrogen peroxide is produced in order to act as an algaecide in the body of water. The floatation ring ensures the proper floatation of the straw or lavender in the water.
The growth container is formed of two pots that interfit within each other to define an enclosed space. A heater disposed in the space supplies heat via a reservoir of water for heating the inner pot and the soil in the inner pot to keep the roots of an aquatic plant embedded within the soil warm. A thermostat(s) is provided for maintaining the temperature of the soil at a predetermined temperature.

Abstract:
A method of transferring a plurality of digital images captured by a digital camera to a computer and for processing such digital images includes using the digital camera to capture a plurality of digital images of one or more scenes; transferring such captured digital images to the computer wherein they are stored in a memory; and continuing the capture and transfer of digital images to the memory while simultaneously processing other digital images stored in the memory which were previously captured by the cam era wherein such processing produces digital images which are suitable for subsequent use.
The de-icer apparatus uses the warmer water below an ice cap on a fishpond to maintain an opening in the ice cap for venting gases generated below the ice cap. The de-icer apparatus uses a low voltage heater to warm the water entering the lower end of the apparatus and moves the water by convection to the upper end of the apparatus. In one embodiment, the heated water is moved out of the upper end of the housing to prevent the formation of ice. In another embodiment, the housing provides a chimney effect for venting gas and melting snow.
Subsurface Heat Actuated Evaporative Irrigation Method And System
A subsurface heat actuated evaporative irrigation system includes a receptacle defined by a porous outer wall. The receptacle includes a first inlet for receiving water and a second inlet for receiving air. The system further includes a heating unit for heating water received in the receptacle to form vapor, wherein the vapor and the air in the receptacle permeate through the porous outer wall of the receptacle into a planting medium.

Abstract:
A Growing apparatus for cleansing air and watering plant, wherein the apparatus includes a modular panel constructed for either vertical or horizontal planting systems, including connecting couplers and end caps for directing water flow from upper to lower channels. Panel consist of 5 channels per section with opposing conical top and bottom set at 45 degree angles () for both channeling water and accepting irrigation nozzle. System can also use a horizontal channel system while the orientation is different but function is the same. Panels stack nesting consecutively on top of each other to make larger systems.
