A golf bag cart ( ) having a frame ( ), a handle ( ), first and second rear wheels ( ), and first and second wheel struts ( ), to which the first and second rear wheels ( ) are rotatably mounted, the first and second wheel struts ( ) being pivotally mounted to the frame ( ) by mid-frame pivots ( ). The golf bag cart ( ) is movable from an extended configuration ( ) to a collapsed configuration ( ), such that the rear wheels ( ) pivot about the mid-frame pivots ( ) to move towards the front wheel ( ). A golf bag cart () for a golf bag () is provided for transporting the bag (). The golf bag cart () includes a four wheeled carriage (), a bag support frame () and a handle (). The bag support frame () includes a base frame () and a pivotally attached torso frame (), with a slider block () on said base frame () providing a mechanism for collapsing and expanding said golf bag cart () between a use mode () and a storage mode () in conjunction with the pivoting of the torso frame ().
