Abstract:

Methods and systems for modeling functional processes in enterprises, and for simulating and valuing the effects of various products and services on those processes, are described herein. A method in accordance with one aspect of the invention for marketing at least one of products and services to an operator of an enterprise includes presenting a first process model and a second process model. The first process model can graphically illustrate how at least one functional group in the enterprise responds to a selected operational circumstance. The second process model can graphically illustrate how the at least one functional group responds to the selected operational circumstance after the enterprise has implemented at least one of a selected product and a selected service configured to facilitate operation of the enterprise.

Abstract:

Just in time compiled code and other data within a runtime environment may be shared between multiple applications by identifying common data objects and allowing two or more applications to access the data objects. While at least one application is accessing the objects, the objects may remain in memory. When all applications have stopped accessing an object, the object may be removed from memory. One embodiment may use a server process to manage various operations to facilitate sharing between various applications, such as identifying objects that may be removed from memory and adding newly created data to a database of sharable data.

Abstract:

A signal exhibiting redundancy, such as speech subjected to linear predictive coding, is transmitted in a reduced bandwidth by performing a linear interpolation over a number of frames. Interpolated coefficients are tested against quantized values to see if they differ by no more than a threshold. If they do not, only the last frame is sent and intermediate values are reconstructed by interpolation. If the interpolated values differ by more than the threshold from the quantized values, the number of frames for interpolation is reduced and the interpolation is repeated. This is continued until either interpolation is successful or else the next consecutive frame is sent. The required bandwidth for transmission can be varied by varying the threshold, the maximum number of frames for interpolation, the number of LPC coefficients, or a combination of these.

Abstract:

A computing device including a processor configured to receive source code including a plurality of source code modules. The processor may generate executable code from the source code and assign two or more reload indicators to two or more executable code modules. The processor may execute the executable code. During execution of the executable code, the processor may receive a source code update and generate an executable code update from the source code and the source code update. The processor may apply the executable code update to the executable code to generate updated executable code. The processor may generate a reload ordering of two or more reload operations corresponding to the reload indicators. As specified by the reload ordering, the processor may perform the two or more reload operations at the two or more respective executable code modules. The processor may execute the updated executable code.

An account provisioning manager is disclosed. A placeholder account is generated with a primary work set attribute and a plurality of enhanced work set attributes. Initially, the primary work set attribute is populated with data to convert the placeholder account into an onboarded operating account. The method includes receiving, from a user, a request for access to a resource; accessing an authentication flow for granting access to the resource; obtaining first claims for a user from a first claims provider in the authentication flow; determining a second claims provider in the authentication flow, the second claims provider having a trust relationship with the claims facilitator; directing the user to the second claims provider; receiving second claims for the user from the second claims provider; and enabling the user to access the resource in response to at least the received first and second claims.
