Michele has been a writer and editor for more than fifteen years. A senior editor at one of the world's largest publishing companies, she specializes in illustrated digital publishing for children. She is the Founding Chairperson of First Book-Brooklyn, a nonprofit organization that provides new books to children in need, and volunteers regularly with Everybody WINS Power Lunch, a NYC-based literacy and mentoring program for kids. She also works as a reading/writing tutor for Kaplan. Michele holds a BA in dramatic writing and art history and is pursuing a master's in film, both from New York University.
