Description:
The Approach Ask Rebecca why she got into real estate and she'll tell you that she never wanted to be in sales..."I always thought you had to be pushy to be successful and I prefer to guide rather than push." Indeed, far from being pushy, Rebecca uses a consultative, educational approach to lay out every option that a client has and therefore help them to discover their best decisions for themselves. She says "...There are a zillion pieces besides 4 beds/2 baths/2 acres. My job is to constantly ask questions and listen with zeal in order to put all the pieces together. I don't believe in fluff, excuses, or wasting time. Like it or not, I'm going to tell you the truth about your situation. It may not be what you want to hear." The Success No wonder Rebecca enjoys such success in the real estate arena. She was selected to host a weekly real estate talk show on AM radio. She was in the top 20% nationwide while with Prudential Fox & Roach. Now at Keller Williams, she maintains a sales ratio of 100%. "That means that all of my listings sell. In 2005, only 60% of the homes listed were actually sold, so if you list with me, you're about 40% more likely to sell. It's not magic, it's committment and professionalism." Rebecca studies the current market's statistics in order to ascertain the most likely sales price for any home. With her reputation for accurate pricing, other Realtors are anxious to show her listings; a phenomenon that benefits Sellers by getting them maximum exposure. Buyers benefit too by learning what a "fair" price is for any home they're considering. Negotiation As a former paralegal at one of Philadelphia's Rebecca learned the art of negotiation. "I had many bosses, all of them super high-power individuals who wouldn't take no for an answer. My time and skills were in such demand that I had to learn to create win-win situations. These folks are the best negotiators you'd ever want to meet, so I copied their skills and did alot of reading on the subject. I didn't know it at the time, but it was the perfect training ground for my real estate career." Personal Rebecca has lived in 5 states, 2 countries, and, as a former opera singer, has traveled throughout the world. She still considers the Main Line her "stomping grounds". "I grew up playing tennis tournaments all over this area and taking lessons at the Upper Main Line YMCA and other clubs. Even as a teenager, I had a passion for architecture. I used to drive these streets admiring the beautiful houses; still one of my favorite pastimes. I know the area very well so it was the logical place in which to root my real estate practice. However, I've lived in Philadelphia for 15 years, so I also have a grip on what's going on in town. This area is one of the most dynamic in the country and I love the daily possibility of learning more about it while striving for excellence in helping people achieve their dreams. What a great job I have! I love it!"

I know all sorts of obscure needle arts, including tatting. I'm also a ham radio operator (KB5IZZ). Let's see...I'm an iNFP. DYT 3/2. I can find something funny in just about anything - laughter has gotten me through some pretty crazy times. My clients and coworkers think I'm quirky, and my friends *know* I am, but most of them like me anyway. ;-)
