Abstract:
The present invention discloses an automated rock saw having a saw motor load sensor to control the speed of the conveyors bringing the rock to the saw blade. As the saw motor works harder to cut a given rock, the controller automatically slows the conveyor belts, reducing the load on the saw blade. If the saw blade is easily cutting a given rock and not working at optimum speed, the conveyors will be sped up, increasing production. Also provided in an alternate embodiment is a horizontal blade that can be moved into place to cut the “bottom” of a corner piece, then the standard, vertical blade cuts the other side of the corner.

Abstract:
A system and method for allowing remote access to an IP communications network is disclosed. In one embodiment, a method for allowing access to an IP network comprises: sending a first message addressed to a first port of an IP communications network component, the first message comprising a command requesting the performance of a selected telecommunications function; a selected IP endpoint performing, in response to the first message, the selected telecommunications function; sending a second message addressed to a different second port of the IP communications network component, the second message comprising a request for information associated with the IP endpoint; and tunneling, in response to receiving the second message at the second port, the second message to the IP endpoint.

Abstract:
A single hung window jamblinder is utilized in combination with a window frame having a pair of vertical jambs, the jambs having a vertical, generally T-shaped pocket therein. The jambliner includes an elongated channel member having a base portion and a pair of upstanding sides, and a pair of leg portions mounted on the channel member sides which will receive the stile of a sash and allow for slidable movement of the sash therealong. A resilient vinyl layer is secured along the channel base, and is wider than the channel base so as to protrude beyond each side of the base. The vinyl layer will have a width substantially equal to the width of the jamb pocket to retain the jambliner in position in the jamb. A resiliently compressible sponge-like pad is mounted on the vinyl layer, and is thick enough to bias the vinyl layer against the edges of the jamb pocket so as to prevent airflow between the jamb pocket and the exterior of the jamb.

Abstract:
An improved locking terminal is provided for a full tilt, double-hung or single-hung window. The conventional full tilt, double-hung or single-hung window comprises a window frame having a pair of vertical jambs, each of which have a jambliner mounted therein. Each of the jambliners are provided with a pair of horizontally spaced and vertically disposed channel members which are open toward the sash sides of the window. A mechanical balance is mounted in each of the four channels and has a locking terminal associated therewith which is adapted to grip the walls of the channel to maintain the locking terminal in place in its respective channel when the sash is tilted inwardly for removal from the window frame. Each locking terminal includes a channel-shaped slide member with a back projecting from a lower end thereof and an arm projecting upwardly from the back, generally parallel to the slide member. A locking member is pivotally mounted on the back of the locking terminal for movement between an engaged position engaging a side wall of a jambliner channel, and a sliding position.
A cam pivot for a full tilt, double-hung window comprising a locking lug which extends from the cam pivot and which is received between the walls of a channel-shaped slide member which is a part of a mechanical balance. The locking lug, when the sash is tilted to its vertical position, prevents separation of the cam pivot from its locking terminal during shipment or when loading.
