Abstract:

A tree stand is described that enables the user to pivot a seat to multiple positions for improved visibility and shooting. The stand is constructed of a frame that includes a rear section with a seat mount, and a front section with a platform; a multi-section ladder having an upper end attachable to a lower part of the frame; a swivel seat; and a connector arm having a first end pivotally attached to the frame and a second end pivotally attached to the seat, whereby the seat can be pivoted to various seating positions relative to the frame. The stand also includes toothed tree engagement arms with stops to align hooks from a tree-girdling cinch longitudinally behind the teeth of the arms for improved clamping.

Abstract:

A tree stand is described that includes a seating section and a standing section, each including inclined attachment bars adjacent the section sides, and seating and standing section cables, each having first and second ends with handles at each of the ends. Each attachment bar has outer and inner faces with a plurality of spaced, aligned attachment holes extending between the faces, and a plurality of spaced, aligned latch holes alternating with the attachment holes. Each of the handles including a pair of flanged projections insertable into adjacent attachment holes in an attachment bar, and a latch pin insertable into a latch hole between the adjacent holes. Each projection is moveable from an insertion position to a locked position within a hole when the cable is tensioned, and is prevented by the latch pin from moving back to the insertion position when the cable is relaxed.

A tree stand includes a standing section with attachment members, a releasable standing section lashing member attachable to the standing section attachment members, a seating section including seating section attachment members having upper and lower surfaces, and a plurality of spaced holes extending between the upper and lower surfaces, and a seating section lashing member having first and second ends with handles positionable on the upper surfaces of the seating section attachment members, the handles including projections releasibly attachable in selected holes in the seating section attachment members. The tree stand may also include at least one adjustable tie-down strap attachable between the standing section outer end and the standing section inner end, and tree grippers with spaced, parallel trunk-contacting blades attached to the inner ends of the standing and seating sections.

A tree stand with a foot climber section having tree grippers, and a foot rest; a seat climber section with a rear end and a front end, tree grippers, tubular side members with front and rear ends, and inserts slidably in the side members between extended and retracted positions; and a seat releasibly attachable to the inserts when the inserts are in the extended position, and releasibly attachable to the seat climber tubular side members when the inserts are in the retracted position.
