    A method is provided for writing data to a memory array operating in synchronization with a clock signal having a transition edge. A data strobe signal having a transition edge corresponding to the transition edge of the clock signal is provided.     The present disclosure provides a thermal spray alloy system that is more resistant to wear and/or corrosion than conventional alloy compositions. The disclosed alloys minimize or eliminate micro-cracks within the formed coating on the tool. The alloy comprises carbon, boron, and a fluxing agent selected from the group of aluminum, magnesium, or lithium. The alloy may also comprise titanium, silicon, manganese, molybdenum, nickel, and chromium, as well as other elements. The object to be coated may be any downhole component used in the oil and gas industry, or may be applied to any object or tool that needs an increased wear and/or corrosive protection layer including in diverse fields such as marine, chemical processing, and refining. A thermal spray coating with the disclosed alloy composition provides increased strength and resistance to spalling, breaking, cracking, deforming, and crack formation, as well as metallurgical bonding between the coating and the substrate.

    The present disclosure provides a method, system, and apparatus that adds one or more reinforcing structures to a thermally sprayed layer of metallic material onto a substrate to reinforce and/or further support the formed substrate coating. The reinforcing structure may be a metallic or non-metallic wire, filament, whisker, mesh, or similar structure and may be coupled to the substrate before or during the thermal spray process, thereby embedding the reinforcing structure(s) into the resulting thermal spray matrix. The type, material, size, shape, and application technique of the reinforcing structure is variable based upon the desired characteristics of the ultimate coating. The durable coating may be formed by a plurality of separate and/or distinct layers. The resultant coating (e.g., the reinforcing structure(s) with the one or more thermal spray layers) provides numerous benefits, including increased strength and resistance to spalling, breaking, cracking, deforming, crack formation, and corrosion.

    Systems and methods are provided for improving operation of a fluid catalytic cracker as part of an integrated processing environment including a deasphalting unit and a hydroprocessor. Optionally, a coker can be included in the integrated system to allow for further improvements. The improved processing can be facilitated based on a process configuration where a combination of deasphalting and hydroprocessing are used to perform conversion on more refractory compounds, so that the fluid catalytic cracker can be operated at lower severity conditions. This can allow for improved production of desirable olefins and reduced production of light paraffins and coke. Additionally or alternately, the processing configuration can allow the bottoms fraction from fluid catalytic cracking to be incorporated into a higher value use than the typical regular sulfur fuel oil disposition.

    Systems and methods are provided for improving the processing of heavy or challenged feeds in a refinery based on integrated use of deasphalting, coking, and hydroprocessing. An optional fluid catalytic cracking unit can be included in the integrated system to allow for further improvements. The improved processing can be facilitated based on a process configuration where the vacuum resid fractions and/or other difficult fractions are deasphalted to generate a deasphalted oil and a deasphalter residue or rock fraction. The deasphalted oil can be passed into a hydroprocessing unit for further processing. The rock fraction can be used as the feed to a coking unit. Although deasphalter residue or rock is typically a feed with a high content of micro carbon residue, a high lift deasphalting process can allow a portion of the micro carbon residue in the initial feed to remain with the deasphalted oil. The portion of micro carbon residue that remains in the deasphalted oil can then be upgraded during hydroprocessing and/or during subsequent processing of the feed. By reducing the amount of micro carbon residue passed into a coker for a given initial feed source, the overall capacity for a reaction system to handle heavy feeds can be increased relative to the rate of coke production from the reaction system.

    Systems and methods are provided for upgrading a mixture of catalytic slurry oil and coker bottoms by hydroprocessing. Optionally, the upgrading can further include deasphalting the mixture of catalytic slurry oil and coker bottoms to form a deasphalted oil and a deasphalter residue or rock fraction. The mixture of catalytic slurry oil and coker bottoms and/or the deasphalted oil can then be hydroprocessed to form an upgraded effluent that includes fuels boiling range products. Optionally, in some aspects where the feed mixture is deasphalted prior to hydroprocessing, the feed mixture can further include a portion of a (sour) vacuum resid.
