Abstract:
A thermally-directed optical imager and a method of thermally-directing optical processing are described. The thermally-directed imager includes a thermal image sensor, an optical image sensor, and a processor. The thermal and optical sensors respectively generate thermal image and optical image signals. The processor uses the thermal image signal to determine an optical processing region, which the processor uses to derive a compressed-image signal. The optical processing region may be determined by detecting a center of heat-mass associated with the thermal image signal or by performing an edge detection algorithm. In addition, the thermally-directed imager may be focused, zoomed, or centered via the thermal image signal.

Abstract:
Methods and apparatus are provided for determining a position of a vehicle with respect to a terrain. The method comprises accumulating data received from at least one sensor device regarding the occupancy of a spatial region between the vehicle and a first geographic region of the terrain, generating an evidence grid that describes the occupancy of the spatial region, identifying the position of the first geographic region of the terrain based on the evidence grid and previously compiled reference data, and determining the position of the vehicle based on the position of the first geographic region of the terrain with respect to the previously compiled reference data.
Level 3 Fusion Engine For Detection And Tracking Of Chemical Biological, Nuclear And Radiological Hazards
A chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) hazard detecting system. In one embodiment, the CBRN hazard detecting system includes a plurality of sensors, a plurality of acoustic sensors, one or more weather sensors and a level fusion engine. The level fusion engine is in communication with the plurality of CBRN sensors, the plurality of acoustic sensors and the one or more weather sensors. Moreover, the level fusion engine is adapted to detect and track CBRN hazards based in part on data received from the CBRN sensors, the acoustic sensors, the one or more weather sensors and predictive hazard models.

Abstract:
Systems, methods and articles of manufacture provide for an injection management platform that allows the verification and management of injection event transactions involving injectors equipped with NFC or RFID chips utilizing a distributed and secure technology such as blockchain. An injection event transaction ledger allows for digital receipts of injection event transactions to be securely verified and updated. In accordance with some embodiments, injectors may comprise blow-fill-seal (BFS) injectors that are pre-filled with a single dose of a fluid agent comprising a vaccine or medicament, allowing for tracking of individual doses of the fluid agent via the injection event transaction ledger.
