Abstract:
Amine salts of -( -methyl-pyrimidin- -yl)- -( -tetrahydro-[ ]-naphthyridin- -yl)-nonanoic acid are potent antagonists of the integrin v receptor and are useful for the prevention and/or treatment of osteoporosis and vascular restenosis, as well as conditions associated with excessive angiogenesis, such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, atherosclerosis, inflammatory arthritis, cancer, and metastatic tumor growth. The invention also relates to a process for the preparation of the novel salts as well as pharmaceutical compositions containing the salts and methods of using the salts. Also disclosed are (R)- and (S)-( -methylpyrimidin- -yl)- -( -tetrahydro-[ ]naphthyridin- -yl)-nonanoic acid in the form of a zwitterion trihydrate.

Abstract:
The tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane (âTRISâ) salt of 3-(pyrimidin-5-yl)-9-(5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-[1,8]-naphthyridin-2-yl)-nonanoic acid is a potent antagonist of the integrin v3 receptor and is useful for the prevention and/or treatment of osteoporosis and vascular restenosis, as well as conditions associated with excessive angiogenesis, such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, atherosclerosis, inflammatory arthritis, cancer, and metastatic tumor growth. The invention also relates to a process for the preparation of the novel salt as well as pharmaceutical compositions containing the salt and methods of using the salt.

The invention provides compounds and methods for inhibition of kinases, more specifically p70S6 kinases. The invention provides compounds for modulating protein kinase enzymatic activity for modulating cellular activities such as proliferation, differentiation, programmed cell death, migration, chemoinvasion and metabolism. Compounds of the invention inhibit, regulate and/or modulate kinase receptor signal transduction pathways related to the changes in cellular activities as mentioned above, and the invention includes compositions which contain these compounds, and methods of using them to treat kinase-dependent diseases and conditions.

Abstract:
The presently disclosed technology relates to a nano-additives to improve the performance of lubricants, oils, and greases. More specifically, the presently disclosed technology relates to applying capped metal oxide nanoparticles, such as capped zirconia nanoparticles, in the lubricants to produce a tribofilms on the lubricating surfaces to provide wear protection to the said surfaces. Also, the interaction of the capped zirconia nanoparticles with other commonly used additives in lubricants may further optimize the performance of the resulting tribofilms.
Multi-Party Payment Card Processing Systems And Methods With Foreign Exchange Transaction Detection And Chargeback Loss Mitigation
An electronic payment card processing system and method includes at least one computing device in communication with a multi-party payment processing system and network for processing payment card transactions. The computing device receives transaction data for a plurality of payment card transactions identifies foreign exchange transactions based on the received transaction data, and applies a chargeback loss mitigation rule to filter a chargeback request for a disputed transaction charge that relates to an identified foreign exchange transaction, thereby preventing an unnecessary chargeback for the foreign exchange transaction.
Access To Ach Transaction Functionality Via Digital Wallets
A message is generated to initiate an ACH (automated clearing house) transaction to benefit a recipient account associated with a recipient token. The message includes the recipient token. After the message is transmitted, an authentication message is received. The authentication message indicates authentication of the recipient token. The ACH transaction is implemented in response to receiving the authentication message.
