Abstract:

In an example embodiment of the present disclosure, a computer-implemented system for providing endoscopic simulations includes a 3D organ model and a graphical user interface (GUI) displayed on a screen. The GUI includes a device model simulating a medical device displayed in the GUI and configured to be manipulated by a first user input to the GUI. The GUI also includes an internal view of the 3D organ model, wherein the internal view is controlled by the manipulation of the device model and simulates a view captured by the simulated medical device. The GUI also includes an external view of the 3D organ model, wherein the external view is controlled by a second user input to the GUI.
