Abstract:

A test probe head for probing integrated circuit (IC) chips and method of making test heads. The test head includes an array of vias (e. g. , annular vias or grouped rectangular vias) through, and exiting one surface of, a semiconductor layer, e. g. , a silicon layer. The vias, individual test probe tips, may be on a pitch at or less than fifty microns (50 μm). The probe tips may be stiffened with SiO(and optionally silicon) extending along the sidewalls. A redistribution layer connects individual test probe tips externally. The probe tips may be capped with a hardening cap that also caps stiffening SiOand silicon along the tip sidewall.

Abstract:

Compositions containing lipid nanoparticles and nucleic acid therapeutic agents are disclosed. For example, calcium phosphate nanoparticles having a lipid coating are provided, wherein the calcium phosphate nanoparticles include a cyclic dinucleotide and the lipid coating includes phosphatidylserine. The compositions can be formulated for administration to the lungs of a subject via inhalation, or for administration via injection. Methods for the treatment of lung cancer and other cancers are also described. Targeted delivery of therapeutic agents such as cyclic dinucleotides to antigen presenting immune cells via the disclosed methods can elicit beneficial antitumor immunity.

Abstract:

A multi-section optical modulator and related method are disclosed wherein two waveguide arms traverse a plurality of successive modulating sections. A differential drive signal is applied separately to each waveguide arm of each modulating sections in synchronism with the transmission of light along the waveguide arms, affecting a dual differential driving of each section. By suitably selecting the number of modulating sections and the section length, a high modulation bandwidth and a high modulation efficiency may be achieved simultaneously for a given peak-to-peak voltage swing of the drive signal.

Aspects of the technology described herein relate to enhancing ultrasound data. Some embodiments include receiving ultrasound data and automatically determining, with a processing device, that the ultrasound data depicts an anatomical view or one of a set of anatomical views. Based on automatically determining that the ultrasound data depicts the anatomical view or one of the set of anatomical views, an option is enabled to perform ultrasound data enhancement specific to the anatomical view or the set of anatomical views. Based on receiving the selection of the option, the ultrasound data, a portion thereof, and/or subsequently-collected ultrasound data is enhanced using the ultrasound data enhancement specific to the anatomical view or the set of anatomical views.

Abstract:

Aspects of the technology described herein relate to providing feedback a user to position an ultrasound device. Some embodiments include configuring the ultrasound device to alternate collection of ultrasound images having one image plane and collection of ultrasound images having the other image plane, and providing feedback to the user to position the ultrasound device based on the ultrasound images. In such embodiments, feedback may be provided for simultaneously centering the anatomical structure in both types of ultrasound images. Some embodiments include collecting ultrasound images having one image plane, providing feedback for centering the anatomical structure in those ultrasound images, and once the anatomical structure is centered in those ultrasound images, collecting ultrasound images having another image plane and providing feedback for centering the anatomical structure in those ultrasound images.
