Abstract:
A method, system, and apparatus of a balanced rotator conversion of serialized data are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method to convert serialized data includes acquiring a rotator module output, and generating a balancing signal with a reference module, which operates with a reference frequency. The method further includes processing the rotator module output and the balancing signal in an interpolation module to generate a balanced rotator output. The method may include a rotator module output that is generated by an analog phase rotator when a control voltage is received by the analog phase rotator. The reference module may include an other analog phase rotator to generate a balancing signal. The interpolation module may interpolate the balancing signal and the rotator module output to modulate a phase of the balanced rotator output. The balanced rotator output may include an orthogonal output.
Electron-Beam Controlled Micromirror (Ecm) Projection Display System
This invention provides a projection system with an Electron-beam Controlled Micromirror (ECM) display system. The ECM device overcomes the problems of high cost, and low yields associated with similar techniques. The ECM device is ideally used in high definition projection display applications. The ECM consists of five layers, i.e., a transparent substrate, a transparent conducting film, a micromirror array, an insulation membrane, and a patterned collector grid that is attached on the membrane.
System And Method For Multi-Channel Delay Cell Based Clock And Data Recovery
Systems and methods regarding the restoration of serialized data to parallel data with a low speed reference signal are provided. In exemplary embodiments, a phased lock loop receives a reference clock signal from a data source and generates a reference high speed clock signal based on the reference clock signal. A dynamic link library clock and data recovery module reads and writes data flows contained within serialized data onto parallel data paths at a modified high speed clock signal based on the reference high speed clock signal.
Hot surface igniter assemblies used in cooktops are shown and described. The hot surface igniters include a silicon nitride ceramic body with an embedded, resistive, heat-generating circuit. The igniters are less than 0.04 inches thick, and when energized, they reach surface temperatures in excess of 2000 F. in under 4 seconds to ignite combustible gas such as propane, butane, or natural gas. Examples of cook top burner systems are also provided which allow the igniter to remain on after ignition at a power level that is lower than during ignition but high enough to ignite the cooking gas should a flame out occur. Examples are also provided of burners that ignite on a low flow setting (e.g., simmer) as opposed the high flow settings that are common in cook top industry.
Systems, devices, methods and other techniques for assessing data leakage risks in a computing environment. A computing system receives interaction data and query data for a party. The system determines dimension combinations represented in the interaction data and identifies, for each query described in the query data, each dimension combination that appears in a result to the query. The system generates, for each dimension combination, a query membership tag that identifies each query for which the dimension combination appears in a result to the query. The system determines, for each unique query membership tag, a count of a number of entities that are associated in the interaction data with any interaction having a dimension combination that corresponds to the query membership tag. The system assesses a data leakage risk for the party based on the counts for one or more unique query membership tags.
A thermally-actuatable gas valve assembly comprising a ceramic heater is shown and described. The gas valve assembly comprises a housing with a gas inlet and a gas outlet. A bimetal thermal actuator has a valve plug that removably seals the gas outlet from the interior of the housing. The ceramic heater is energizable to cause the thermal actuator to deflect which unseats the valve plug from the gas outlet, thereby placing the gas outlet in fluid communication with the gas inlet and the interior of the housing. A gas heating system is also shown and described in which the gas valve assembly selectively supplies cooking gas to a silicon nitride ceramic igniter. The igniter and the heater are in series such that when a source of alternating current is applied across the igniter and the heater, the igniter reaches the autoignition temperature of the combustion gas before the valve assembly opens

Abstract:
Disclosed in some examples, are systems, methods, and machine readable mediums which implement a scalable algorithm for scheduling promotional campaigns of an online service that satisfy a set of desired constraints while at the same time maximizing a total utility. This algorithm is capable of scheduling hundreds of campaigns for millions of members. In some examples, each promotional campaign may have a utility (which may be described by a utility function) for a particular member and a goal of the scheduling algorithm may be to maximize the total utility for all members eligible for the promotional campaign while satisfying various constraints.
